Dr Adli Azam
Dr Adli is the Consultant surgeon in Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery Unit, Department of Surgery and senior lecturer in Faculty of Medicine, Universiti Teknologi MARA, Malaysia.
He is privileged to receive advanced training in minimal invasive thoracic surgery at Seoul National University, Bundang Hospital, as part of his Cardiothoracic Surgery Training.
His field of surgeries include adult cardiac and thoracic surgery with special interest in minimal invasive approach. He performs wide range of VATS surgery, and on high note, he performed the first robotic thoracic surgery in Malaysia, which currently the only center to provide the service alike.
He is also actively involved in thoracic surgery training at national and ASEAN level as he is a member of ASEAN VATS Study Group which aims to improve and advance the approach of VATS in ASEAN.
Apart from his busy schedule, his athletic days in Malay College Kuala Kangsar, one of the premier schools in Malaysia, grows into a passion in endurance sports namely triathlon, up to level of IRONMAN race.
Institute and continues to be a pioneer in the field of Robotic Thoracic Surgery in South Florida. Since 2006. Dr. Dylewski has introduced numerous innovative techniques in complete endoscopic lung and esophageal surgery. He serves as a principle clinical educator in Thoracic Robotic Surgery for Intuitive Surgical, Inc and Ethicon endosurgical corporation and has lectured domestically and internationally on Robotic Assisted Thoracic Surgery. He has contributed to research focused on new applications of minimally invasive and robotic thoracic surgery.
